Automation and PLC Lead Technician IBC
What you’ll do:
Repairs, assembles, installs, and maintains production assembly machine systems
Documents all maintenance activity and assists with machine downtime root-cause trouble-shooting activity
Aids in creating both mechanical and software control code standards
Understands pneumatic and hydraulic devices and how these respective systems/components are energized and controlled
Understands AC/DC theory and AC/DC electronic circuits with their corresponding schematics
Understands electronic feed-back sensor devices
Can assemble and terminate (wire) control cabinet and machine components
Understands electronic safety devices, light curtains, safety relays, emergency stop circuits, and operator input devices
Creates and issues written trouble-shooting guides, preventative maintenance work instructions, and technical work instructions
Understands ladder logic and machine control program
What is required:
High School diploma required
Enrolled in a vocational degree (2-3 years Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine applications
Ability to read Blue Prints and wiring diagram
Self-directed, yet effective working part of a collaborative team
