Application Engineer

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the development and execution of seatbelt application products.
• Project Development: Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical critical phases of awarded programs.
• The Engineer will be responsible for the product design and validation per customer requirements in time to support production launch.
• Develop designs that are aligned with the customer’s needs and Autoliv’s product/process roadmap.
• Critical Situations: Working with the customer to negotiate styling vs. Autoliv standard design/processes.
• Balance between easy to manufacture and meeting customer needs.
• Understanding customer specifications and ensuring product is designed/validated accordingly. 

What is required:

• BS Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience as an engineer within the Automotive Industry.
• Product Experience (Seatbelts) Design / CAD
• Perform Tolerance Stack Apply GD&T on Drawings
• Ability to understand manufacturing needs
• Problem Solving Skills
