Customer Service Material Analyst
This position is the main contact for customer planners from several Autiliv sites
What you’ll do:
· Liaison between customers, carriers and Autoliv plants.
· Review daily shippers for all plants.
· Print lineups and give to dock so that they can pull and process shipments.
· Identify potential shipment issues: overweight, cube out situations, and coordinate with customer carriers.
· Track inbound shipments from each manufacturing site.
· Communicate to customer planners, supplier planners and other Autoliv logistic analyst any delays in routes and work with logistics companies to recover loads and get routes back on schedule.
· Create any shippers that may have been missed to avoid customer shortages and expedites.
· Create new shippers and email planners of shortages.
· Communicate with customer planners of inventory shortages/discrepancies.
· Management of new engineering changes and new launches for each facility to ensure Autoliv meets customer requirements and minimizes Autoliv’s risks.
· Schedule LTL pickups for Customer Shipments
· Schedule expedited shipments when required to meet customer demand.
· Oversee Cycle Counts on Steering wheels and Airbags and Seatbelts based on each plants cycle count requirements.
· Perform spot cycle counts as requested by each facility.
· ILVS Requirements for Ford and BMW. Review 866’s daily requirements and level load daily production schedules to meet min/max inventory targets.
· Check Man-it for any rejected requirements and notify customer planner and I.T. of an error.
· Update Steering Wheel ILVS spreadsheets for each Ford plant that we ship to.
· Assist in pulling data for AS412 sorts to ensure they align with customer requirements.
· Backup for AS412 Quality Sort Supervision
· Print skid manifests from Subaru website for shipments.
· Print skid manifests and Kanban cards for Toyota Boshoku shipments off customer website.
· Track and report out any Honda parts are shipping in cardboard.
· Understand IATA regulation for flying Autoliv products, along with ability to create paperwork as required.
· Provide weekly overtime requirements for customer shipments.
· Manage all AWC office and plant supplies. Issue all purchase orders for AWC and MPHS
· Document Control for AWC
· Backup for Expeditor position
What is required:
· Degree in related field or high school graduate with 5 years’ experience working in logistics.
· Must be willing to work overtime and off hours when needed.
· Hazmat Certification
· Attention to detail and good communication skills
· 5 years of working in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
