Production Quality Senior Technician

In this role you will be responsible for for supporting engineering teams in the development and manufacturing of airbag components for the automotive market.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a solid work ethic. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset is essential, along with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. This role requires close attention to detail, consistent follow-through on commitments, and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
Produces engineering documentation and reports.
Conducts tests and records data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Provides feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials/product.
Collaborates with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
Understanding of DOE and SPC concepts.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

Bachelor’s degree or currently Pursuing an Engineering Degree (previous experience will be considered)
Quality control in a manufacturing environment.
