Finance Intern

In this role you will be responsible for
• Internal and external audit activities (documentation, evidence tracking)
• Assist with process documentation and work instruction creation
• Help maintain and update monthly reporting, spends, variances, and business reviews
• Support basic accounting activities (accrual support, reconciliations, variance analysis)
• Organize and track/audit RD&E activity before month end to help identify issue areas
• Assist with walkthrough preparation and meeting materials
• Support ad hoc finance, controls, or process improvement projects
• Support material pricing updates through internal systems
• Assist with internal and external audit support activities of supplier tooling
• Help organize and track spending as it relates to group development programs and cost sharing activities
• Tracking material price variances and price updates
• Assist with process documentation and walkthrough preparation
• Help prepare training or presentation materials
What is required:
• Senior level student working toward Bachelor degree or Master student preferred in Accounting or related field
• Strong interest in accounting, controls, audit, forcasting and planing at a project level
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (through coursework)
