Thermochemical code maintenance and improvement, AI modeling projects, outside contractor interface, coding projects to improve engineering efficiency, hands on tools development for ballistic/chemistry development.
Fluids/Thermal/Thermal Equilibrium Chemistry Engineer with capabilities in Scilab/Matlab and/or Other Coding Languages (Fortran/C++/Python) including related hardware design.
Html/Css/Js experience will be a plus.
Contributes to tools development and problem solving in the modeling of energetic material testing devices and materials for airbag development.
What you’ll do:
Thermochemical code maintenance and method for tracking energetic materials in the code,
Outside contracts to improve engineering tools technical liaison,
Coding in Scilab/Matlab & Fortran for new engineering tools,
Tools/hardware development to better understand ballistic behavior,
Implement AI tools to accelerate engineering work
Other ballistic/heat transfer/fluids dynamics activities to support CAE/modeling team
What is required:
• At minimum MS in field such as: Thermodynamics/Energetic Engineering, Thermo-Chemical Equilibrium, Chemistry, Physics, Aerospace Engineering.
• MS with 2-5 years of experience in related activities.
• PhD levels with no experience will be considered
• Thermodynamics or Thermo-Chemistry and Fluid flow
• Scilab/Matlab and/or Fortran/C++/Python
• CAD skill to communicate design requirements (Catia/SolidWorks)
• Ability to learn/understand the theoretical and physical aspects of airbags
• English language proficiency is required
