What you’ll do:
Respond to short pulls as they arise during the shift
Work with production to solve issues when they arise (keep them running with minimal impact)
Plan raw components
Work with shipping dock on hot shipments for department
Track hot inbound shipments to ensure delivery for department - Work with shipping dock on any shipper issues and help to resolve issues to get shipment moving
Manage revision changes on off shift
Work on miscellaneous conveyance projects as they arise
Various Kanban responsibilities
In addition, this person will have some material analyst responsibilities.
What is required:
High school diploma required, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent) while holding this position is preferred.
Will need to have basic computer skills. Some experience in Excel would be preferred.
The position requires use of an ERP system to plan inbound shipments.
