The Division Director of Communications and Marketing leads the strategic development and execution of communications, marketing, and branding initiatives for Autoliv Americas. This role is responsible for driving brand visibility, profitable customer engagement, and internal and external communications that align with corporate objectives and support business growth within the division.
What you’ll do:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy aligned with global corporate objectives and market trends. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and geographies.
• Project Management & Execution: Lead end-to-end project management and governance for all initiatives, ensuring flawless execution, on-time delivery, and quality outcomes.
• Marketing & Brand Development: Oversee product and digital marketing, campaigns, and market research to drive customer engagement and support business growth.
• Communications Excellence: Manage internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis response, executive messaging, and thought leadership content.
• Events & Exhibits: Direct planning and execution of trade shows and technical exhibits to showcase innovation and strengthen customer relationships.
• Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global teams and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, share best practices, and maintain brand consistency worldwide.
• Budget & Performance Management: Optimize resources, manage budgets, and track KPIs to measure ROI and continuously improve effectiveness.
• Strategic advisor and communication leader: align diverse stakeholder needs within a matrixed organization by translating complex concepts into clear, compelling messages and driving both strategic vision and operational execution.
What is required:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Experience in Fortune 500 or global organizations preferred.
• Proven ability to develop global marketing strategies and manage complex projects
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and media relations.
• Exceptional oral, written, and digital communication skills; ability to make complex concepts simple and deliver audience-centric messaging.
• Multilingual capabilities and international market experience preferred.
• Native-level English proficiency required. Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
