As an Automotive EDI Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions within Autoliv. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and resolving EDI transactions, developing, and implementing EDI standards, reconciling data discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be the bridge between technology and business, ensuring efficient communication and accurate transaction processing.
What you’ll do:
- EDI Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and resolve EDI transactions on a daily basis, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Standards and Procedures: Develop and implement EDI standards and procedures to streamline transaction processes.
- Data Reconciliation: Analyze transaction errors and reconcile data discrepancies, maintaining data integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and business units, to ensure successful EDI implementation.
- Documentation: Fully document projects, maps, and business processes related to EDI transactions.
- Projects: Support Customer Onboarding and other improvement projects
- Support: Shipping Dock support on shipping issues, this will also include being part of an “On Call” rotation
- Administrative: Security and Audit support
What is required:
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience with Automotive EDI
- 3-5 years of EDI Expertise: Proficiency in electronic data interchange (EDI) standards and protocols
- Application: Intermediate Knowledge or Autorelease
- Database:Working Knowledge of relational databases
- EDI Expertise: Proficiency in electronic data interchange (EDI) standards and protocols.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of automotive industry processes and supply chain operations.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to analyze transaction errors and reconcile data discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with EDI tools and software.
