Manufacturing Engineer
This role supports the development and production of airbags and components for the automotive industry. Opportunities may exist in R&D, Design, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Automation.
What you’ll do:
- Design and optimize layouts and processes for material handling and manufacturing.
- Develop and implement procedures for material preparation and production sequencing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Conduct tests and measurements to monitor production variables.
- Collaborate on quality standards and inspection methods.
- Analyze and improve control software, hardware, and automation systems.
- Support robotics setup and application.
- Create and maintain automation standards.
- Program PLC systems (Allen Bradley, GE preferred).
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and documentation standards.
What is required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
