Quality Supervisor
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for understanding, communication, and execution of the Autoliv quality policy with regards to quality engineering. They will communicate and support quality strategies, train and develop staff, and report on production quality issues.
What you’ll do:
- Reports to Plant Quality Manager
- Coordinates the hiring and onboarding process for new quality staff and seasonal interns. • Provides training for quality staff and ensures training material is current.
- Reports staff performance at regular intervals. Also conducts performance reviews for direct reports.
- Regularly attends production startup meetings to communicate quality concerns and support the production teams.
- Coordinates the problem solving for customer quality concerns. Interfaces with the customer and the problem-solving cross functional teams.
- Escalates product and process concerns from production to management as necessary.
- Supports the launches of new products, customer changes, and CFTs.
- Responsible for acting on customer rating and scorecards improvements
- Provides coverage for the quality manager role during absences in management meetings, customer communications, and quality escalations to divisional management
- Assists in quality audits
- Other duties as assigned
What is required:
- B.S. Degree from an accredited university; preference will be given to candidates with a degree in engineering or statistics.
- 8+ years of experinace with at least 4 in a supervisory role preferred.
- Must be willing to work after hours as needed
