Account Manager
Develop strategies & lead AM activities to grow Autoliv sales & profitability within the Business Unit.
What you’ll do:
- Develop & visualize strategy for target business:
- identify which business to target
- identify winning price targets
- identify gaps & action plans to achieve business wins.
- identify & support team pursuing “global best” cost levels
- Develop scenarios & actions to support business growth:
- Support Autoliv engagement in customer initiatives i.e. “Monozukuri”, CD, USMCA, VAVE, etc.
- Work with CEM to develop pre-development projects
- Be the voice of customer within the organization
- Provide clarity of Autoliv voice to customer
- Lead & manage strategy to achieve customer goals by coordinating Autoliv’s business wide activities outside our BU's direct influence:
- Quality and Delivery Performance
- Human resource development strategy
- Corporate compliance strategy etc.
- Work with Business Support Group (BSG) to ensure accurate data
- Support EBIT Walk/development from PSC-3 to Launch
- Target NOI at EBIT/CM goals and/or develop realistic action plans to get there:
- Present strategy and gain management approval
- Support team in developing EBIT/CM target IP for problem projects
- Support Account Managers to create & achieve approved APR budget.
- Track capex execution to PSC approval
- Understand & seek to align Autoliv quotes with "global best" tooling / product costs / process KPI's
- Interface with wider Autoliv team for optimum VEVA achievement
- Ensure payment for customer funding of pre-development activities & prototype parts.
- Support action plans to address issues driving non-green customer scorecard
What is required:
- 10+ years of experience in automotive business development, sales, or account management.
- JOEM experience
- Safety product knowledge is a plus
- Japanese and/or Spanish are a plus
- Flexibility: work across EST, CST & Asia time-zones.
- Familiarity with Japanese philosophies, actions and behaviors: i.e. Gentani, monozukuri, RR-CI, genchi-genbutsu etc.
- Availability to work on site 60% of the time
