Accounting Intern
What you’ll do:
- Various month-end close tasks to assist AAM Division during close process.
- Special projects (i.e., Project tracking (ITW)).
- Month-end PowerPoints related to financial results, variance analysis, and reporting requirements.
- Retrieving and reviewing payments in AP for fixed asset suppliers (new AHO requirement).
- Assist in capturing all IT spend and improving reporting process.
What is required:
- Must be in an Undergraduate studing finance and/or accounting.
- Be proficiant and comfortable with various Microsoft Suite programs, (Excel, Power Point).
- Understanding of debits/credits and journal entries, financial statement analysis and three statement relationship (i.e., Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statement), basic conceptual understanding of risk and controls, and financial reporting
- Skilled in systems ie know how to do Look up tables, and comfortable with databases.
- Have the ability to work both independantly and as a part of a team.
