Production Control Manager
The AMC Production Control Manager is responsible for the supply chain management and logistics responsibilities for incoming and outgoing materials at the PRO facility. The AMC Production Control Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager. The selected candidate must be able to work closely with production, technical support, quality, and design teams.
What you’ll do:
- Manages employees assigned to meet customer and supplier requirements/planning including support functions such as shipping and receiving, inventory control, packaging, and storage.
- Acts as logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process are coordinated in such a way that customer requirements and time constraints are met.
- May include responsibility for customer service, domestic and/or international shipping, and/or administering safety programs.
- Provides direction to team members based on general policies and management guidance.
- Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect reporting organizational units.
- Accomplishes results with supervisors, team members, and/or through experienced salaried employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
- Ensures work/projects are completed on schedule and within budget, also approves expenditures within budget policies and guidelines.
- Manages the warehouse functions and movement of material throughout the facility.
- Leads the creation of action plans and policy deployment and manages efforts to achieve area and plant goals.
What is required:
- Bachelor Degree relating to Business or Supply Chain Management is required
- 3-5 years of leadership experience.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving production control processes.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate cross-functionally.
