Autoliv is currently accepting resumes for a Quality Manager at the Autoliv Tremonton Facility. The Quality Manager is responsible for the Manufacturing Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Material Inspection, Test Lab, Metrology, and Customer Relations functions.
What you’ll do:
- Sets the quality culture and strategies for the facility.
- Oversees and engages in problem solving efforts, understanding effects of decisions on other areas of the facility.
- Takes ownership to pursue systemic solutions and root causes in eliminating quality concerns.
- Knows and understands the difference between judgmental, informational and source inspection and ensures they are applied appropriately.
- Sets strategies for support systems process improvements.
- Provides direction to team members based on general policies and management guidance. • Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect reporting organizational units.
- Accomplishes results with supervisors, team members, and/or through experienced salaried employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
- Becomes actively involved in daily operations to meet schedules or to resolve complex/systemic challenges.
- Ensures work/projects are completed on schedule and within budget, by approving expenditures within the policies and guidelines of the budget.
- Ability to openly and effectively communicate about continuous improvement with production, technical support, and design teams, by building credibility through relationships, and provide leadership to the program.
What is required:
• A Bachelor’s degree or above is required, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supervising or managing teams, overseeing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
