IT Project Manager

Responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that Autoliv IT projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The main contact person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. The role uses Agile PM methodology for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile projects that provide exceptional business value to users.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Ensure projects deliver desired results within time and budget constraints.

• Ensure resource availability and allocation

• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Identify and remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders.
• Maintain relevant metrics to help the team monitor their progress.

Agile-related

• Oversee all project activities in Jira.
• Coordinate and manage all project activities using agile methods, such as Scrum or Kanban in Jira.
• Create, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to define and refine Features and User Stories when necessary.
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity.
• Collaborate with other project stakeholders to manage and negotiate project scope, ensuring the product backlog is well-maintained.
• Monitor team dynamics and accountability related to delivery commitments. 

What is required:

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related area.
• Educational background preferably in the fields of Computer Science or Engineering for technical project managers
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• Certified Scrum Master is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Software Applications Development and Testing.
• Familiarity in AI development is a plus
