IT Project Manager
Responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that Autoliv IT projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The main contact person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. The role uses Agile PM methodology for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile projects that provide exceptional business value to users.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure projects deliver desired results within time and budget constraints.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Identify and remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders.
- Maintain relevant metrics to help the team monitor their progress.
Agile-related
- Oversee all project activities in Jira.
- Coordinate and manage all project activities using agile methods, such as Scrum or Kanban in Jira.
- Create, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to define and refine Features and User Stories when necessary.
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity.
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders to manage and negotiate project scope, ensuring the product backlog is well-maintained.
- Monitor team dynamics and accountability related to delivery commitments.
What is required:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related area.
- Educational background preferably in the fields of Computer Science or Engineering for technical project managers
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Certified Scrum Master is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Software Applications Development and Testing.
- Familiarity in AI development is a plus
