Finance Business Manager
The Finance Business Manager is the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to support the Transformation Leader in the execution of the recently defined AAM EBIT Uplift Strategy. This will include supporting Project Sponsors, creating content for ELT and EMT SteerCo meetings, to monitor progress to targets and connect project accomplishments with AAM EBIT.
What you’ll do:
- Supporting the SteerCo content preparation, monitoring project performance to plan, measuring recovery plan effectiveness and communicating finance elements of performance to plan.
- Coordination and alignment of Strategic Uplift Plan management with RF forecasting and BP (Business Plan) development.
- This person will also have a key role as an advisor to Project Sponsors and DRIs to connect activities to financial performance.
- The most critical situations that the position holder must handle effectively to be successful in the role include getting ELT members (who do not report to this person) to effectively deliver project financial information. This will include working across functions, reporting the right level of information in a timely manner and delivering the right Uplift Strategy analysis to stakeholders.
What is required:
- At least 5 years of financial managerial experience
- Financial consulting and auditing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related. MBA in Business or Finance is a plus.
- Business acumen and project management are a must.
- Must be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Financial analysis in automotive supply and consulting experience
