Finance intern

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our AAM Division and gain hands‑on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting within a dynamic, global manufacturing environment. This one year internship is designed as a development opportunity, providing exposure to core Finance and Controlling activities while working closely with experienced finance professionals.
What You’ll Do
Support monthly and forecast financial reporting processes, including consolidation of actuals and projections
Assist with financial analysis and variance analysis to support business decision‑making
Work with finance systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Essbase, OneStream) to analyze and interpret financial data
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within Finance and Controlling
Gain exposure to finance operations within an automotive/manufacturing environment
What We’re Looking For
Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Finance or Accounting
Willing to complete a 1 year internship
Strong interest in financial analysis, reporting, and corporate finance
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables preferred)
Familiarity with Essbase or OneStream is a plus
Prior exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or the automotive industry is an advantage
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
