Automation Controls Technician 

What you’ll do:

• Provide preventative maintenance on switch gear, transformers, distribution panels, and equipment. 
• Change and modify the electrical system under the direction of Engineering and Management teams. 
• Install new production equipment, moving and rearranging equipment for continues improvement.
• Disconnecting and removing old electrical equipment and assets. 
• Knowledge of the electrical system at IBC and be able to safely make changes and modification to it. 

What is required:

• Be currently enrolled in a 4-year apprenticeship or have a current State Electrical license.
• Must have experience working in the electrical field. 
• Must understand national and local codes. 
• Must have experience with bending conduit, pulling wire, installing panels, and transformers.
