Automation Controls Technician
What you’ll do:
- Provide preventative maintenance on switch gear, transformers, distribution panels, and equipment.
- Change and modify the electrical system under the direction of Engineering and Management teams.
- Install new production equipment, moving and rearranging equipment for continues improvement.
- Disconnecting and removing old electrical equipment and assets.
- Knowledge of the electrical system at IBC and be able to safely make changes and modification to it.
What is required:
- Be currently enrolled in a 4-year apprenticeship or have a current State Electrical license.
- Must have experience working in the electrical field.
- Must understand national and local codes.
- Must have experience with bending conduit, pulling wire, installing panels, and transformers.
