Test Technician
Test Technician
This is a full time position at OTC. The OTC test technician is responsible for testing items for customer shipments, research and development and on-going capabilty studies. The test technician will work with OTC prototype and design engineering on a daily basis.
What you’ll do:
- Test Orders, quality documents, quality processess.
- Works with engineers to test products in an R&D prototype environment.
- Supports audits in the prototype bays and ensures all Autoliv quality standards are being met.
- Works in a team environment with engineers, technicians, process engineers and the technical support team.
- Works with OTC build areas to ensure the inflators and initiators are tested correctly
- Participates in test team meetings
- Participates in the Safety and Quality Jidoka process
- Supports area workshops
- Cross training in other areas of prototype operations. (Cushion, Module, , material)
What is required:
- High School Diploma
- 0-2 years of experience with basic mechanical skills and tool usage
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to work with Cross functional teams and support all testing needs
