Currently accepting resumes for a Material Analyst at our Module Facility in Ogden, UT. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develops, integrates, and provides short-term forecasts of customer demand. • Maintains and manages product history, forecasts, and promotional demand. • Establishes replenishment system planning with selected customer accounts to further understand demand stream information. • Manages customer inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system. • Maintains replenishment model information, including monitoring the accuracy of weekly data, history, network changes, lead-times, new product information, pricing and customer service performance goals, and updating as required within the scope of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. • Insures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems. • Maximizes the efficiencies of shipments. • Resolves unacceptable situations with customers, as well as problems between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers to ensure planned arrival of product. • Acts as liaison between customer, sales, customer service, and carriers. • Advises on trends and/or shifts in demand that could impact company’s service levels. • Ability to respond to critical logistics issues as needed during off hours. Strategic Context and Challenges: Maximize efficiency in logistics and lean inventory principles. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/JOB REQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree under unique circumstances.
