Machine Build Project Manager (Ogden, UT)
Project Manager will be the point person in charge of specific projects within the Machine Build organization. Projects will consist of launching new industrial automated production equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in line design workshops and provide input related to equipment for new production cells Create detailed quotes for new machines
- Participate in scope of work meetings and design reviews
- Ensure machine standards and Machine Build processes are being followed
- Manage engineering change requests
- Manage project to meet scheduled timing and stay within approved budget
- Conduct team and safety buyoff activities to ensure machine meets scope of work requirements Coordinate transport and installation of new equipment at customer facility
- Ensure open action items are completed
- Support customer buyoffs and ensure equipment is ready for start of production
- Act as main point of contact for the Machine Build team and customer for assigned projects
- Report project status and concerns on a regular basis to team supervisor
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or related work experience
- Travel may be required
- Must have a positive attitude and ability to get along with others
