Intern - Purchasing / Supply Chain Management - AOA (51907)

Autoliv ASP, Inc., a world leader in the manufacturing of life-saving devices, has an opening for a paid, full-time 2022 Summer Intern in Purchasing (going part-time once school starts to accommodate student's school schedule) at its module facility located in Ogden, UT.  The intern will be required to support Indirect Purchasing buyers in working with Stakeholders and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Operational and Strategic Buyers by assisting in business strategies for multiple categories and providing ideas and opportunities to drive category success
  • Provide data analysis on best buy opportunities
  • Review/Analyze/Compare supplier quotations and provide feedback on differences
  • Support of special projects through collaboration with stakeholders

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelors of Supply Chain Management
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office:  PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
